Employment Associate (Mid-Level) Los Angeles, California A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a mid-level Employment Associate (5-6 years) to join its Labor & Employment practice in Los Angeles.This is an opportunity to work with a sophisticated employment team handling a broad range of counseling and litigation matters for employers across multiple industries. The position offers substantial client interaction, hands-on responsibility, and the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile matters. Responsibilities Advise employers on a variety of workplace and personnel issues.Represent clients in employment-related litigation in state and federal courts.Handle matters involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour compliance, and related employment claims.Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documents.Participate in case strategy, mediations, depositions, and hearings.Collaborate with clients and legal teams to develop practical, business-oriented solutions. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.Approximately 5-6 years of employment law experience.Experience providing employment counseling and managing litigation matters.Experience with restrictive covenant, unfair competition, or trade secret disputes is preferred.Prior class action and representative action experience is a plus.Excellent analytical, writing, advocacy, and communication skills.Active California Bar membership required. Compensation Compensation: Salary is paid on a full Cravath-scale lockstep compensation structure, based on class year.
