Location: Grand Rapids, MI Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Join a multi-state organization that operates more than 300 locations. Responsibilities As the Employee Relations Specialist, you'll serve as a key member of the HR team, helping ensure employee concerns are handled professionally, consistently, and in a timely manner. This role primarily manages non-Title VII employee relations cases while providing overflow support for more complex investigations when needed. Key Responsibilities Include Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations questions and concernsReview incoming employee relations cases and route them to the appropriate HR Business Partner or field leadership when necessaryManage the intake process for approximately 10-15 employee relations cases each dayIndependently investigate and resolve non-Title VII employee relations matters, including attendance, conduct, policy interpretation, and interpersonal workplace concernsEscalate more complex employee relations issues to the appropriate HR leadershipMonitor open cases and proactively follow up to ensure timely resolution and closureAssist with overflow Title VII investigations when the Field HR Manager's caseload requires additional supportMaintain accurate case documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and HR best practices Qualifications Required: 1-3+ years of employee relations, HR investigations, or workplace case management experienceBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered)Strong communication, interviewing, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple cases while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism Preferred Experience with WorkdayExperience using an employee relations or HR case management systemWorking knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and Title VII/EEO fundamentalsSHRM-CP or PHR certificationEmployee relations experience within a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), retail, hospitality, or other high-volume, multi-location environment Employee Relations Specialist Employee Relations Specialist Employee Relations Specialist Employee Relations Specialist Employee Relations Specialist Employee Relations Specialist #INAUG2026
