Responsibilities
- Act as a key HR resource for employees and managers regarding workplace concerns and employee relations matters.
- Advise supervisors and leaders on performance management, corrective actions, written documentation, PIPs, and related HR processes.
- Manage a substantial caseload of employee relations matters while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Conduct investigations involving employee complaints, workplace conflicts, policy concerns, and other employment-related issues.
- Evaluate employee concerns and help develop fair, practical, and consistent resolutions.
- Provide recommendations regarding appropriate corrective actions based on investigation findings and company policies.
- Coach managers on effective communication, documentation, performance management, and employee relations practices.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to address issues while reducing organizational risk.
- Help ensure HR policies and employment practices are applied consistently across multiple locations and employee groups.
- Assist with developing and updating HR policies, procedures, templates, and manager resources.
- Collaborate with Legal, HR leadership, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and other internal teams as needed.
- Support a positive workplace culture through proactive coaching, conflict resolution, and effective employee relations practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Human Resources experience with a strong focus on employee relations.
- Significant experience handling employee relations matters involving a large hourly workforce.
- Previous experience managing a high volume of employee relations cases and investigations.
- Demonstrated ability to coach managers through performance and employee relations situations.
- Background in manufacturing, industrial, technology, or a similar environment is highly preferred.
- Experience supporting employees across multiple states is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent judgment and discretion.
Additional Details
- This is a remote opportunity; most employee relations investigations will be conducted remotely.
- The position is expected to begin within approximately two weeks of accepting an offer.
- Occasional travel may be required after conversion for complex or sensitive workplace matters.
Pay
$39-43 per hour
Schedule
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | 1-hour lunch
