Employee Relations Investigator

About the Opportunity

This is an on-site role based in Brooklyn, supporting workplace investigations and employee relations matters for a health services network in New York City.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with complainants, respondents, and witnesses.
• Investigate the full sequence of events and evaluate relevant evidence.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports with findings, analysis, and recommendations.
• Present completed reports to HR and Labor Relations for review and next steps.
• Maintain confidentiality, neutrality, and sound judgment throughout each investigation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of prior Workplace or Employee Relations Investigation experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrated experience conducting witness interviews.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and fact-finding skills.
• Excellent written communication and report-preparation abilities.
• Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive matters.

Desired Skills

• Master's degree.
• Working knowledge of HR practices, workplace policies, and employee relations principles.
