Employee Health Coordinator RN

As our Employee Health and Infection Prevention Coordinator, you will help our workforce and patients remain healthy, safe, and protected from communicable diseases within our facility. Conduct health screenings, perform infectious disease surveillance, and manage complex vaccination and testing programs while maintaining rigorous compliance with CDC, OSHA, and state regulatory requirements. Serve as a vital resource for evidence-based infection prevention practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, implement, and maintain an organizational infection prevention and control program that conforms to external regulatory requirements
• Serve as an active member of the Safety Committee
• Demonstrate comprehensive integration of infection prevention and control into the TQM program and represent infection control on facility committees
• Promote organizational employee health and safety by facilitating an employee health program that includes disease detection, prevention, and treatment
• Follow up on employee illnesses and injuries
• Conduct employee health screenings
• Promote a safe work environment
• Identify and report health trends using strong analytical skills
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Active Registered Nurse license from the State of California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• One (1) to three (3) years of recent acute care or long-term care work experience (preferred)
• Infection Control Certification (CIC), within 24 months of hire (preferred)

Pay

$47.41 - $70.52 per hour
