About the role

The Employee Health Coordinator (RN) is responsible for the administration and coordination of Northern Montana Health Care's Employee Health Program, occupational health activities, leave administration programs, and return-to-work processes.

This position serves as the primary coordinator for employee health screenings, communicable disease management, return-to-work determinations, fitness-for-duty reviews, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) administration, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodation coordination, workers' compensation case management, and employee health regulatory compliance.

The Employee Health Coordinator (RN) shall collaborate with Human Resources, Infection Prevention, department directors, medical providers, and employees to ensure a safe workforce while maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and coordinate the Employee Health Program and occupational health activities
  • Manage leave administration programs and return-to-work processes
  • Coordinate employee health screenings and communicable disease management
  • Conduct return-to-work determinations and fitness-for-duty reviews
  • Administer Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and coordinate Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations
  • Manage workers' compensation case management
  • Ensure employee health regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, Infection Prevention, department directors, medical providers, and employees

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) or Registered Nursing (RN) program
  • Current and unrestricted Montana nursing license
  • Minimum of three (2) years of healthcare experience
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to maintain confidential employee health and personnel information
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, leaders, and providers
  • Ability to maintain composure, objectivity, and apply sound judgment while balancing employee needs, operational demands, and regulatory requirements

Pay

Starting pay range varies based on experience up to 15 years.
