Employee Benefits Sr. Account Executive
Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of multiple group health plans, ensuring their employee benefit needs are met with precision and professionalism.
- Ensuring Plan Sponsor compliance with industry regulations.
- Develop action plans to reach client goals and suggest potential upgrades to grow or diversify client portfolios.
- Responsible for maintaining and servicing an assigned book of business.
- Prepare and market new and renewal submissions in conjunction with sales and service team.
- Work with insurance carriers to secure quotes and verify required specifications.
- Review and process various documents including policies, endorsements and invoices.
- Document all activities in agency management system.
- Prepare clear and concise proposals to effectively communicate marketing results with clients.
- Complete and audit all internal documents, ensuring accuracy.
- Cook up and coordinate resources, negotiate contracts and agreements, and monitor account performance.
- Adhere to and comply with organization policies and procedures, sales and service standards and established workflows.
- Demonstrate effective and efficient quality control through proper file documentation and maintenance to comply with organization errors and omission standards.
Requirements
- Active Health & Life License Required.
- 3 or more years managing self-insured group health plans.
- Experience with Applied Epic or similar agency management software.
- Strong organizational skills - the ability to discern priority and initiative.
- Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, premiums, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Reasoning Skills: Ability to solve practical problems, interpret a variety of instructions and deal with a variety of variables furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Able to apply principles of insurance to various situations, demonstrating how a range of situations may be affected by the principles of insurance.
- Employee Navigator Experience a plus.
Qualifications
- Associate degree required.
- 5+ years as an EB Account Executive or similar experience.

Pay
The base compensation range for this position is $130 - $175. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity. Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
