Purpose Statement/Position Summary
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Manager coordinates and delivers employee assistance and emotional support services for staff, faculty, and physicians at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. This role provides direct clinical services to employees, facilitates emotional debriefings and psychoeducational presentations for groups, and collaborates with Human Resources and the Office of Wellbeing/Emotional Support Services to develop, implement, and support employee wellbeing initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience
- 3+ years of clinical experience providing individual, family and group counseling.
- Experience in short-term treatment models.
- Experience with a healthcare Employee Assistance Program preferred.
Education/Licensure/Certifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology required.
- Licensed as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LPC for a minimum of 2 years is required.
- Certification in CISD, CISM, and/or CEAP preferred.
