About the role
We are hiring a Program Manager I for IDD Services at RHA Health Services. This is a non-exempt, hourly position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Program Oversight: Manage and oversee the delivery of services to individuals and integration of their individual care plans. Monitor and evaluate care plans to adjust and implement improvements as needed. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and support individuals to achieve their personal goals.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all services comply with applicable federal, state and agency statutes, administrative codes, policies, and procedures. Prepare and submit required reports and documentation in a timely manner. Complete Critical/Reportable Incident Reports according to state mandates and submit within required timeframes. Ensure state-mandated home visits are completed and any additional visits if warranted.
- Individual Support: Participate in on-call rotation, attend ISP meetings, make service-related recommendations, advocate for individuals' rights, coordinate with healthcare providers, therapists, support coordinators, and other members of the circle of support team. Participate actively in Human Rights Committee.
- Community Engagement: Foster relationships with community partners and stakeholders. Promote community integration and inclusion for individuals with IDD. Maintain optimum communication with providers, stakeholders, and referring agencies. Attend and participate in community and state meetings as needed. Collaborate with ISC’s, Conservators/Family Members, Therapists, and members of the clinical management team.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 18 years of age required.
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Regularly required to lift 20 lbs.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
- Must be able to pull a minimum of 20 lbs.
- Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop.
- Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Required to regularly stand and walk.
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing, and lifting.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
- Must be able to talk and hear.
