Emergency Veterinary Technician - Overnights and Weekends available

Responsibilities

• Support emergency and urgent care patients
• Assist with hospitalized and critical care cases
• Perform IV catheter placement and venipuncture
• Monitor and recover from anesthesia
• Conduct diagnostic testing and patient assessment
• Communicate with clients during stressful situations
• Manage fast-paced treatment room workflows

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on veterinary clinical experience
• Prior experience in emergency, critical care, specialty, or high-volume general practice
• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in patient restraint and handling, IV catheter placement, anesthetic monitoring, and emergency protocols
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Advanced technical abilities
• Proven ability to think critically and manage complex cases
• Experience with veterinary PIMS and electronic medical records

Pay

$21.00–$28.00/hour based on experience

Schedule

Current hiring need is focused on Overnight and Weekend coverage, with scheduled shifts running from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Overnight & Weekend Incentives effective July 1st, with shift differential pay for eligible team members.
