Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and Registered Veterinary Technicians with emergency procedures and patient care.
• Perform venipuncture, place intravenous (IV) catheters, and administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Monitor patients during anesthesia and recovery.
• Support triage, diagnostics, and emergency treatment protocols.
• Assist with laboratory sample collection and diagnostic procedures.
• Monitor hospitalized patients and promptly communicate changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Ensure treatment areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of emergency veterinary experience required.
• Strong technical skills including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, patient monitoring, and surgical assistance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced emergency environment.
• Passion for emergency medicine and providing exceptional patient care.
• Reliable, motivated, and compassionate with a strong work ethic.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous learning.

Pay

$22.00–$27.00/hour (DOE)

Located in the Inland Empire, Grand Terrace offers convenient access to Southern California's mountains, beaches, and desert destinations. Animal Emergency Clinic welcomes team members commuting from Riverside, San Bernardino, Colton, Loma Linda, Redlands, Moreno Valley, Highland, Fontana, Rialto, Corona, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, and surrounding Inland Empire communities.
