Responsibilities

• Treatment of a wide range of medical and surgical cases in an emergency setting
• Collaboration with other veterinarians and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Assisting with training and mentoring of new emergency veterinarians
• Participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in New Jersey
• At least 3 years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine
• Board certification in veterinary emergency and critical care preferred
• Experience with a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for providing compassionate care to animals and their owners
• Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to veterinary practice
