Emergency Veterinarian - Ethos ER Immerse Mentorship Program - Lebanon, NH (9 Months Off-Site Training)

About the Role

SAVES, located in Lebanon, NH, is seeking veterinarians passionate about working in emergency medicine for our 9-month training and mentorship program. We are looking for individuals who are team-oriented, driven, reflective, and reliable to train with us and transition into an ER position at SAVES. At SAVES, you will do more than practice—you’ll grow, collaborate, and help shape what’s possible in veterinary medicine in the Upper Valley.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 9-month training program designed to prepare veterinarians for a sustainable and satisfying career in emergency medicine.
• Engage in a hybrid training approach incorporating simulation-based didactic components and authentic training experiences with live patients.
• Work alongside dedicated mentors and rotate with other specialty services during the training program.
• Contribute to a high level of patient care and practice advanced veterinary medicine in a supportive environment.

Program Details

• Duration: 9-month training program beginning June 14, 2027, followed by a 2-year commitment as an ER clinician at SAVES.
• Training Location: Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital - 20 Cabot Rd, Woburn, MA, 01801.
• Work Schedule: 5-day work week consisting of 4 clinical days, 1 didactic day, and 2 days off each week, usually consecutive.
• Curriculum: Competency-based, including asynchronous learning, weekly live virtual didactic rounds, journal club meetings, and continuing education events.
• Training Components: Hands-on surgical and wet labs, advanced soft tissue surgery training, and focus on clinical knowledge, communication, and professional skills.

• Passion for emergency medicine and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
• Team-oriented, driven, reflective, and reliable.
• Work authorization in the United States is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, but candidates eligible for TN status may be considered.
