About the role

Join us as an Emergency Veterinarian at VCA Arboretum View Animal Hospital located in Downers Grove, IL. You'll be part of a world-class, AAHA-accredited 24-hour emergency/specialty/general practice hospital just outside of Chicago. Specialty services include Internal Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, Emergency & Critical Care, and Oncology. The hospital offers advanced diagnostic tools like an interventional radiology suite, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, lithotripsy, and nuclear scintigraphy.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class medicine and collaborate with a talented team
• Mentor students and new graduates
• Develop strong client and Associate relationships built on trust
• Practice the highest standard of medicine and uphold the veterinary code of ethics

Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent
• Licensure in good standing to practice in Illinois, or the ability to obtain
• Residency trained or Diplomate Board Certification

Pay

The annualized base for this position ranges from $125k-$330,000 and is negotiable based on experience and credentials. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Schedule

Full or Part Time availability, Overnights/Swing shifts available
