Responsibilities

• Work alongside a team of 8 doctors, 13 RVTs and 31 Veterinary Assistants
• Operate a 10,000 square foot hospital equipped with digital radiography, acupuncture, an endoscopy tower, multiple ultrasounds, O2 cages, a ventilator, a complete in-house lab, and numerous IV pumps, syringe pumps, and monitoring equipment
• Achieve AAHA accreditation
• Provide care to approximately 10,000 pets annually, including dogs, cats, and occasional wildlife through animal control contacts

Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent
• Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or the ability to obtain
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency medicine is preferred
• Ability to work in a hybrid setting and handle a variety of cases and perform surgery
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passionate about pets and their care

Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using hospital equipment and software

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $180,000. Offering a $25k sign-on bonus.

Full-Time, Part-Time Day, Swing and Overnight shifts available
