About the role
ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital is seeking a Full Time Emergency Veterinarian to join their team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in San Fernando Valley. This is a unique opportunity to practice emergency medicine alongside board-certified specialists in specialties like cardiology, surgery, neurology, orthopedics, and internal medicine.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, real-time care for sick and injured pets
- Assess and diagnose patients, develop and oversee treatment plans
- Partner closely with technicians to ensure high-quality care
- Perform surgeries and manage critical care cases
- Maintain an exceptional standard of service in the emergency department
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required
- State Veterinary Board License: Active and in good standing for the state of intended employment
- Obtained prior to start date
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
- Experience in emergency medicine or completion of small animal rotating or emergency internships is highly recommended

Pay
Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $200k-$230/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Schedule
Full time position with potential for travel opportunities.
