About the role

ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital is seeking a Full Time Emergency Veterinarian to join their team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in San Fernando Valley. This is a unique opportunity to practice emergency medicine alongside board-certified specialists in specialties like cardiology, surgery, neurology, orthopedics, and internal medicine.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, real-time care for sick and injured pets
• Assess and diagnose patients, develop and oversee treatment plans
• Partner closely with technicians to ensure high-quality care
• Perform surgeries and manage critical care cases
• Maintain an exceptional standard of service in the emergency department

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required
• State Veterinary Board License: Active and in good standing for the state of intended employment
• Obtained prior to start date
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
• Experience in emergency medicine or completion of small animal rotating or emergency internships is highly recommended

Pay

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $200k-$230/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Schedule
