Emergency Veterinarian

About the role

A well-established specialty and emergency veterinary hospital in the Atlanta metro area is seeking a Full-Time Emergency Veterinarian to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Triage, stabilize, and manage urgent and critically ill patients
• Develop diagnostic and treatment plans
• Manage hospitalized emergency cases
• Perform emergency procedures as needed
• Communicate with pet owners, referring veterinarians, and hospital teams
• Participate in rounds and collaborate with specialists

Requirements

• DVM/VMD degree
• Georgia veterinary license or eligibility
• DEA registration or eligibility
• Strong emergency clinical judgment and communication skills
• Emergency medicine experience preferred
