About the role
We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Emergency Veterinarian to join our team. Whether you’re an experienced ER doctor or freshly internship-trained, we welcome you to apply. The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, a commitment to compassionate care, and excellent communication skills. Experience with ultrasound or endoscopy in an emergency setting is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of a wide variety of emergencies, including trauma, poisoning, and infectious diseases
- Performing diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds and endoscopies
- Collaborating with the team to ensure the best possible outcomes for each patient
- Providing compassionate care to patients and their owners
- Participating in continuing education and professional development
Requirements
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Alaska
- Experience in emergency medicine is preferred but not required

Pay
Competitive hourly base + production. Production bonus-eligible based on collections and eligibility criteria.
