Emergency Veterinarian
About the role
We are expanding our emergency and critical care services and returning to 24/7. We are seeking full-time intern-trained or experienced emergency veterinarians interested in emergency medicine and soft tissue surgery.
Responsibilities
- Manage receiving and inpatient care
- Take on soft tissue surgery cases
- Collaborate with in-house specialty surgeons and internists
- Work in a modern facility with advanced monitoring equipment and in-house lab capabilities
- Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment
Requirements
- Intern-trained or experienced in emergency medicine and soft tissue surgery
- Team player with a friendly, collaborative, compassionate, and dedicated attitude
- Full-time availability with a flexible, rotating schedule
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
- Board certification in Emergency and Critical Care preferred
- Experience in emergency and critical care settings
Skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to handle high-stress situations

$180,000 to $220,000+ for full-time, experienced ER DVMs

Meet the Team
The team is led by Dr. Jolene Babyak, MS, MS, DVM, DACVECC. Our emergency doctors manage receiving and inpatient care, with opportunities to take on soft tissue surgery cases. You'll also work alongside our in-house specialty surgeons, Dr. Trey Townsend and Dr. Lindsey Lavin, as well as our new Internist, Dr. Juliana Picard. In addition, you'll have opportunities to collaborate with a broad network of specialists across Ethos.
