About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Emergency Veterinarian to join our dynamic and supportive team. As our specialty services grow, you will work alongside board-certified specialists dedicated to exceptional patient care. This role offers a $135,000 base salary plus production, with a rotating schedule of 12 shifts per month.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with urgent and emergent medical conditions.
• Provide comprehensive emergency care, including receiving new cases, triaging incoming patients, and managing hospitalized patients throughout treatment.
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based medicine.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to ensure seamless, compassionate patient care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Completion of a rotating internship or 2+ years of emergency medicine experience (or equivalent clinical experience) preferred.
• Experience performing emergency surgeries strongly preferred.
• Confidence managing emergency cases and making sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.

• Passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing emergency veterinary medicine.
