About the role

At EVCC, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Web Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and experience with content management systems such as WordPress.

Responsibilities

Design and develop websites for veterinary practices
Ensure all websites are accessible and adhere to best web design practices
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and requirements
Implement responsive design to ensure optimal viewing on various devices
Work closely with the marketing team to optimize website performance
Perform regular maintenance and updates to existing websites

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum 3 years of professional web development experience
Experience with WordPress and other content management systems
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

Proficiency in web design and development tools
Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
Experience with database management and SQL
Understanding of web accessibility standards
