About the role
BluePearl Pet Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking a full-time Emergency DVM to join our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital. Our ideal candidate would be a team player with an interest in helping to grow the Emergency department in the Birmingham hospital. We have a very collaborative, open working environment. Full time or part time employment will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to pets
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Participate in the development of new specialty services
- Continuously improve and stay updated with industry developments
- Solve problems efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree
- Valid state veterinary license
- Unwavering commitment to emergency care

- Outstanding analytical capacity, attention to detail, and follow through
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Google Apps for Work and Cornerstone Practice Management software (optional)
