Emergency Veterinarian

About the role

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join our state-of-the-art hospital serving pets in Emerson, Fair Lawn, Glen Rock, Ho Ho Kus, Hudson, Oradell, Ridgewood, River Edge and Maywood, along with the counties of Bergen, Hudson and Essex.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert care to critically ill or injured pets using cutting-edge diagnostic tools and performing life-saving procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to make a real impact on the lives of pets and their owners.
• Communicate clearly with pet owners on medical conditions and treatment plans.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD degree required.
• Completion of a rotating internship or residency in emergency and critical care preferred but not required.
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Pay

Base salary up to $190,000.00. Additional earning potential through quarterly production bonus (no negative accrual).
