Emergency Technician Per Diem Variable

Description

Emergency Technician at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center is a per diem part time position working during weekdays and weekends on a variable shift. Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Assists the physician/nurse practitioner during procedures by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment. Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure.

Required Qualifications

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) Annually
• 1 year relevant experience; patient care or clinical experience preferred. Experience acquired during certification or licensure process, military experience as medical personnel or senior clinical nursing student is also considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Upon hire: Current or previous EMT, Paramedic, Completion of Medical Assistant Program or CNA certificate

Pay

Pay Range: $20.19 - $30.26. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
