Emergency Technician Per Diem Days

About the role

Reporting to the Emergency Services Nurse Manager, under the direction of Nursing or Patient Care Provider, performs basic emergency medical/trauma procedures and patient care to patients and families of all ages as directed, in accordance with physician orders, hospital policy, scope and standards of practice. All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the mission and core values of the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Upon hire: California Emergency Medical Technician License or California Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License or California Paramedic License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire
• 1 year Experience in acute care
• 1 year Current Emergency Services experience (may be concurrent with acute care experience)

Pay

$34.30 - $34.30 per hour (base pay range; additional compensation may be available such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities).

Schedule

This position is Per-Diem and will work 12-hour Days shift.
