Emergency Technician Part Time Night

About the role
The Emergency Services Technician role is a non-licensed health care employee who performs delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks/duties and works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). These duties may include ECGs, vital signs, monitoring, basic patient care, and transportation. Responds appropriately to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs based on the emergency department scope of service.
This position is Part-Time and will work 12-hour Night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform ECGs, vital signs, and patient monitoring
- Provide basic patient care and transportation
- Respond appropriately to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs
Requirements
- Certification as an EMT or completion of an accredited EMT course, or equivalent education/experience
- Demonstrated equivalency (such as experience as a Corpsman or MD)
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Qualifications
- Basis EKG course (preferred)
- Upon hire: Emergency Medical Technician License, or Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License, or Paramedic License (preferred)
- 1 year of EMT experience (preferred)
- 1 year of Emergency Department experience (preferred)

Pay
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.41 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
