About the role

Under the general supervision of the Emergency Department Nurse Manager, Supervisor, or Patient Care Provider, performs basic emergency medical/trauma procedures and patient care as directed. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age-specific patient populations (e.g., infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics) and participates in related continuing education.

This position is full-time, working 12-hour night shifts.

  • Participate in related continuing education.

Requirements

  • California Emergency Medical Technician License, California Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License, or California Paramedic License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year of patient care or clinical experience.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $26.68 - $38.58 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
