Responsibilities

• Assists the nurse in completing patient care activities, considering patients' developmental levels.
• Demonstrates strong communication skills and accepts delegated tasks.
• Has the knowledge and understanding to ask questions and report patient information as necessary.
• Handles patient information with confidentiality and privacy in mind.
• Complies with the safety management program to ensure a safe physical environment.
• Is knowledgeable about and responsive to the hospital's mission.
• Promotes a patient and family experience-oriented environment.
• Affirms as a change agent to meet the evolving census and needs of all customers, both internal and external.

Requirements

• CPR - BLS certificate within 2 weeks of hire.
