Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency infrastructure incidents and outages
- Troubleshoot fiber optic, copper, RF, and low-voltage communications systems
- Perform emergency repairs, restorations, and testing
- Cook up coordination with project leadership and facility personnel
- Maintain emergency response documentation and incident reports
- Support scheduled maintenance and preventive activities
- Ensure all work complies with safety and testing standards
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in telecommunications, structured cabling, or emergency technical support
- Strong troubleshooting and repair experience
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including emergency callouts
- Experience with fiber optic testing and certification equipment
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
Required Certifications
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification
- Manufacturer certifications in testing/splicing equipment preferred
- BICSI Certification preferred
