EMERGENCY SERVICES - ER TECH

Job Summary

Helps to facilitate functions of the department, by performing clerical duties related to patient care and department flow. Includes administrative duties within the department. Acts as the department facilitator; communicates with the public and various hospital departments, physicians and nursing personnel. Provides direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with nurses and physicians, ensuring the highest level of support in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Successful completion of a certified nursing assistant program
• Current unencumbered CNA certification or current EMT certification
• Current BLS
