Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice as an unlicensed assistive person.
• Assists in the maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the ED Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire (preferred).
• Current BLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of Medical terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office (preferred).
• Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain current.

Pay

The current compensation range for this role is $21.59 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hire, considering factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
