Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Transports patients between different hospital units.
  • Ensures that supplies in the Emergency Services department are properly stocked.
  • Administers CPR, checks blood pressure, temperature, performs phlebotomy, and electrocardiograms as needed.
  • Ensures the emergency rooms are neat and orderly at all times.
  • Adjusts crutches for patients as necessary.
  • Obtains food orders from the kitchen.
  • Transports discharged patients via wheelchair to cars.
  • Delivers specimens as needed.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Vocational/technical training and more than six months job-related experience or equivalent is required.
  • Nursing Assistant Certificate is also required.
  • BLS required.
