Responsibilities
- Transports patients between different hospital units.
- Ensures that supplies in the Emergency Services department are properly stocked.
- Administers CPR, checks blood pressure, temperature, performs phlebotomy, and electrocardiograms as needed.
- Ensures the emergency rooms are neat and orderly at all times.
- Adjusts crutches for patients as necessary.
- Obtains food orders from the kitchen.
- Transports discharged patients via wheelchair to car.
- Delivers specimens as needed.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Vocational/technical training and more than six months of job-related experience or equivalent.
- Nursing Assistant Certificate required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
