Emergency Room Technician II

About the Role

As a member of a multidisciplinary health team, the Emergency Room Technician assists in emergency patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, focusing on patient comfort, hygiene, and safety. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of AHMC-Anaheim Regional Medical Center (AHMC-ARMC) and demonstrating behavior consistent with the core values of AHMC-ARMC. The employee will support AHMC-ARMC’s strategic plan, performance improvement goals, and organizational expectations, including Customer Service, Patient’s Rights, Confidentiality of Information, and Environment of Care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in emergency patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Focus on patient comfort, hygiene, and safety.
• Support the mission and strategic goals of AHMC-ARMC.
• Adhere to organizational expectations, including customer service, patient rights, and confidentiality.

Requirements

• One year of acute care experience in an emergency services or related area. In lieu of this experience, consideration will be given to candidates with strong education and associated experiential background.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Korean) preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
• Current EMT certificate preferred.
• ACLS preferred.
• PALS preferred.
• Completion of Management of Assaultive Behavior training within the initial 3-month period of employment.
