Emergency Room RN (Full-Time, Nights)

About the role

Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in activities supporting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with collaborative input from patients, families, and the interprofessional team.
• Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural values.
• Supports a safe, healing environment and ensures effective communication across care settings.

Qualifications

• RN license required; Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a fast-paced environment.
