Emergency Room - Clinical Nurse (Evenings)

About the Role

This position is for a registered nurse in the emergency department, providing direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures safety and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Educate patients and families on care management and medication
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities
• Develop and communicate comprehensive care plans
• Assess patient needs holistically, including cultural and emotional factors
• Develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with the healthcare team
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient values and cultural considerations

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Active RN license required
• No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred for advanced education
