Responsibilities

- Ensures patient safety, including medication administration, fall prevention, and infection control.

- Works collaboratively with colleagues to enhance unit operations and patient care.
- Manages work schedules efficiently to minimize overtime and optimize resource utilization.
- Participates in continuous learning and development to stay updated on best practices and industry trends.
Requirements
Minimum of six (6) months recent (within the last 5 years) full-time equivalent experience in Emergency Department (ED) or Critical Care, or successful completion of a KP ED training program within the last 12 months. No formal educational requirements are listed.

- Registered Nurse License (California)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association
- Basic Life Support (BLS)

Schedule
