Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records promptly
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic counts
• Provide advanced life support care from initial contact to handoff at medical facilities
• Maintain competency through ongoing training and certifications
• Document licensure, certifications, continuing education, and procedures
• Ensure equipment and supply maintenance and safety compliance
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public
• Participate in pre-mission briefings, mission debriefings, and assist with pre-flight checklists
• Support safety protocols and conduct aircraft safety briefings
• Fill open shifts as needed within the area

Requirements

• Minimum three years’ experience in 911 or critical care settings
• Current EMT-P license in the assigned area
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma
• FP-C certification within 24 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Instructor certifications
• NREMT-P certification in some areas
