Emergency Response Coordinator - Outside Sales

About the role
As an Emergency Response Coordinator (E.R.C.), you will be first on the scene following fires or floods. Your role begins once the fire department leaves, securing the property, initiating cleaning and drying, managing content restoration, and overseeing rebuilds to restore properties to their original condition.
You will engage with homeowners, facilities managers, or management company representatives to establish BMS CAT as their trusted partner for cleaning and repairing the damage. This high-adrenaline, high-profile sales role involves interacting with both commercial and residential property owners and offers growth potential into sales leadership.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency scenes (fires, floods) 24/7 to secure properties and initiate restoration processes.
- Engage with decision-makers (homeowners, facilities managers, management representatives) to present BMS CAT’s services.
- Guide prospects empathetically through the restoration process to build trust and close sales on-site.
- Perform cold calling and outside sales activities to generate new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery from clean-up to rebuild.
Requirements
- At least one year of outside sales and cold calling experience.
- Ability to respond to emergencies 24/7 and work in high-pressure environments.
- Strong empathy and communication skills to counsel property owners during traumatic events.
- Drive, energy, and a results-oriented mindset to go the extra mile.
- Willingness to grow into a sales leadership position over time.

Pay
