Emergency Physician - Per Diem

Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, is seeking an Averdiem Emergency Physician to be primarily based at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine. This is an employed position with a collegial and stable team. We offer a highly competitive hourly rate.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients presenting to the Hospital's emergency department
- Provide a variety of clinical medical services
- Work about 2 variable shifts per month as needed
Requirements
- MD or DO with successful completion of Emergency Medicine Residency
- CT State license, CSR and Federal Narcotic Use Registration (DEA)
- New Emergency Medicine Residency Graduates are encouraged to apply if considering a full-time position with us in the future
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Willing to work about 2 variable shifts per month as needed
- Current ACLS/ATLS/PALS required

Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year.
