MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital is seeking a per-diem Emergency Medicine Physician to join its skilled and collaborative team. Our Emergency Medicine Department currently has six Physicians and two Advanced Practice Providers. We have a newly renovated Emergency department, which has private patient rooms and two of which are state-of-the-art trauma rooms. We also have dedicated spaces for patients in psychiatric crisis. Our department partners with LifeFlight of Maine for emergency patient transport when needed. Join a collaborative fast-paced team with excellent support staff.

Pay

The pay rate for this position is $ 254 per hour and may qualify for shift differentials based on eligibility.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education/Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship program in the relevant specialty, or equivalent.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine. Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine. Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and privileges at designated hospital locations.
