Emergency MH Psych Screen (M) - Mental Health - E/S (RMC) - Per Diem (Weekday & Weekends)

Position Overview

SUMMARY (Basic Purpose of the Job): Provides clinical assessment, treatment, referral, and appropriate connections as required to Adult Psychiatric Screening Center patients on and off-site. Maintains confidentiality at all times in accordance with the established CH standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: MSW in Social Work or MA in Counseling/Psychology or related field.
• LCSW or LPC preferred.
• Experience: One year experience in an acute mental health setting.

Special Training

Permanent NJ State Mental Health Screening Certification obtained within one year of hire.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Frequent physical demands include: Standing, Walking, Reaching forward, Keyboard use/repetitive motion.
• Occasional physical demands include: Sitting, Climbing (e.g., stairs or ladders), Carry objects, Push/Pull, Twisting, Bending, reaching overhead, Squat/kneel/crawl, Wrist position deviation, Pinching/fine motor activities.
• Continuous physical demands include: Taste or Smell, Talk or Hear.

Sensory Requirements

• Very Accurate 20/40, Near Vision, Very Accurate 20/40, Far Vision, Accurate Depth Perception, Accurate Hearing.

Anticipated Occupational Exposure Risks

• Bloodborne Pathogens, Chemical, Airborne Communicable Disease, Extreme Temperatures, Radiation, Uneven Surfaces or Elevations, Extreme Noise Levels, Dust/Particulate Matter.
