Emergency Medicine Physician (Per Diem)

Bassett Healthcare Network, located in Central New York, is seeking a per diem Emergency Physician to join our staff.

About the role

• Join an established group of Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians across six Emergency Departments and three Convenient Care locations
• Network-wide annual emergency visits total 82,500, with the highest volume at the Level 3 trauma center at Bassett Medical Center
• APC coverage and excellent 24/7 support staff
• 24/7 radiology reads
• Tele-Neurology and Tele-Psychiatry coverage at all sites
• Seamless access to specialty consults through Bassett Medical Center, including Interventional Cardiology, Orthopedics, and Trauma
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• MD, DO, or MBBS degree
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• New York State licensure
• BLS Certification
• DEA Certification

Pay

Per diem rate range: $212.00 – $275.00 per hour. This hourly rate is based on the full-time salary range and reflects Bassett Healthcare’s good-faith belief of the compensation range at the time of posting. Salary is determined by qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
