About the Role
Part-time Emergency Medicine Physician position in Marlboro, MA with National Wound Physician Group. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities.
Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. You will utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities while learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.
This is a mobile practice where physicians visit facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location, conducting weekly wound rounds at 2-3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is completed at the point of care using our proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Responsibilities
- Become an expert in wound management through training and a wound fellowship.
- Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at assigned facilities.
- Use cutting-edge clinical technologies and wound care modalities.
- Complete clinical documentation in real-time during rounds using a proprietary EMR.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time roles.
- W2 employment contract (no work visa sponsorship available).
Schedule
- Full-time: Monday–Friday (7 AM–4 PM), 4–5 days per week, ~45-hour work week.
- Part-time: Minimum of 3 days per week (flexible scheduling).
- No call or weekend clinical responsibilities.
Pay
W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits. Part-time compensation is prorated based on hours worked.
