Trauma Designation: Level III, including triage, express care, and private rooms. Beds: 393. Admission Rate: 40%. Staffing Model: 40 hours of Physician coverage daily, 40 hours of APP coverage daily. EMR: Cerner. 1 X-ray room, 2 portable X-ray machines, 2 dedicated in-department CT scanners. In‑department Social Work, Addiction Recovery Coach, and Case Management. Backup specialties: ENT, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Plastics coverage, Ortho, Obstetrics, Critical Care, Nephrology, EP, Infectious Disease, GI, Neurosurgery, Urology, Podiatry, Psychiatry, Addiction Recovery Specialist, Ophthalmology, Vascular surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Adult Hospitalist. Emergency Department ED Volume: 43,000; 45‑bed Emergency Services Unit. Community: Huntington, West Virginia, is located in the Eastern Ohio Valley and is home to Marshall University.
