About the role
The facility is a 25‑bed Critical Access Hospital with specialties in Cardiology, ENT, General Surgery, Inpatient and outpatient surgery, Intensive care unit, Laboratory & medical imaging, Physical therapy, Occupational health, Cardiopulmonary services, Pediatric care, Dietary counseling, and Sleep disorders lab. The Emergency Department sees approximately 19,000 visits per year, has 12 ED beds, and an admission rate of 10%. The EMR is Epic (Fall 2023) and the department utilizes Glidescope and Ultrasound. Located in Geneva, Ashtabula County, OH, the city is 45 miles east of Cleveland and 55 miles west of Erie, PA. The region is known as Ohio's Covered Bridge Capital with nineteen covered bridges, including the longest and shortest in the United States, and is also Ohio's Wine Country, home to the Grand River Valley viticulture district with nearly three dozen wineries, the Geneva‑on‑the‑Lake Lodge and Conference center, and 18 local wineries.
