Job Summary
HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join us at our West Volusia Emergency Freestanding in Deland, FL.
About the role
Qualified Candidates: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM) Family Medicine and Internal Medicine boarded certified candidates accepted with 6,000 hours experience or 3 years of experience in emergency medicine immediately prior to applicationACLS & PALS required
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Participate in telemedicine technology for stroke care and behavioral health
- May be responsible for admitting patients to the main campus with seamless care handoff to intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM)
- Family Medicine and Internal Medicine boarded certified candidates accepted with 6,000 hours experience or 3 years of experience in emergency medicine immediately prior to application
- American Heart Association ACLS & PALS certification required
