Responsibilities
- Provide urgent care to an average of 45 patients per day, covering shifts from 6 a.m.–6 p.m. and 6 p.m.–6 a.m. with single‑physician coverage.
- Collaborate with NP/PA teams for 9 hours daily and utilize Meditech EMR for documentation.
- Support back‑up consultations across multiple specialties to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Key Duties
- Deliver high‑quality emergency medical care.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain compliance with licensing and certification standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 + years emergency department experience or completed EM fellowship.
- Board certification: ABFM or ABIM.
- Current Texas medical license (IMLC not accepted).
- Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS.
- Experience working in an emergency department setting.
