Emergency Medicine Physician providing locum tenens support at a Critical Access Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Manage emergency cases
- Manage observation patients
- Manage acute inpatient care
- Manage trauma stabilization
- Manage general hospital medicine during primarily 24-hour shifts
- Handle inpatient responsibilities
- Utilize the Together Care (Epic) EMR system
Qualifications
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family/Internal Medicine with recent Emergency Medicine experience
- Active Iowa medical license required
Skills
- Provide emergency and inpatient care
- Stabilize trauma patients
- Ensure high-quality patient management
- Flexibility for occasional 12-hour shifts and ongoing coverage expected
Schedule
