Emergency Medicine Physician

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to an average of 45 patients daily.
• Cover 12‑hour shifts from 6 a.m.–6 p.m. and 6 p.m.–6 a.m. with single‑physician coverage.
• Collaborate with NP/PA teams during 9‑hour coverage periods.
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation.
• Consult with multiple specialties as needed.
• Ensure high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Duties

• Deliver urgent and emergent care.
• Coordinate with support teams.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards.
• Maintain effective communication and documentation throughout shifts.

Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of emergency department experience or an EM fellowship.
• Certifications: ABFM or ABIM with ER experience, ACLS, PALS, BLS.
• Required license: Texas medical license (IMLC not accepted).

Schedule

Shifts are 12‑hour rotations covering 6 a.m.–6 p.m. and 6 p.m.–6 a.m., with 9‑hour coverage periods when collaborating with NP/PA teams.
